5 Reasons Heavy Rain Is Actually Just Utter Rubbish

2. Devastating Plot-Holes

~Heavy Rain 1 Ethan's blackouts aren't the only big f-off plot-hole in this epically epic story. No, in fact there's a whole host of deeply unsatisfactory twists before you get to the end. You ready for some doozies? Well first off one of the Origami Killer's trials has Ethan kill a man in cold blood. This is swiftly forgotten completely. Next up, when the police believe that Ethan Mars is the Origami Killer it is totally unclear what they actually have on him. That's most likely because it is nothing. Next up, if Madison and Jayden survive, you can have Madison call Jayden to tell him the address of the warehouse even though the two are not aware of each other and have never met before. Where does Scott get the money to fund his murdering? Why do the police turn up at the warehouse at the end despite not knowing of the location.... The closer you look, the more and more holes there are, and while you could probably explain away some of these things (and undoubtably someone will in the comments, I still feel no satisfaction in having a story that to me made no sense. My first, hell even my second and third, playthrough, I seemed to forgive or overlook these problems but now they are just too glaring. Lacklustre.
