3. Playing Both Of Bruce's Roles Convincingly, Your Way

A unique part of Telltale's approach to their story about the Caped Crusader is the inclusion of playing as Bruce Wayne.

Playing as Bruce, players have to rely more on their wits and conversation choices in order to win out the day, as well as keeping your identity as Batman a secret.

This is balanced with the Batman elements by allowing you to tackle situations as either persona, with the results of either choice being varied.

By comparison, Batman can be a more intimidating and brutal physical force when sent in to a situation. When compared to Bruce's measured and careful approach, Batman is an outlet of aggressive force that often gets results with fists.

I found that the duality that Batman and Bruce Wayne bring to the game serves to amplify their strengths, and can make you appreciate some of the choices Bruce faces.

An awesome example of this is visiting the Mayor of Gotham. Would you go as Bruce and rely on your reputation and conversational wit to get what you need? Or, would you have Batman pay the Mayor a visit, kick the door down and use fear and intimidation to achieve your goals?

Choices like this give a unique look in to the life of the Caped Crusader.
