3. Star Wars: Obi-Wan
http://youtu.be/x6BBBY6ZiJE Star Wars: Obi-Wan was a saunter into the action gaming arena. This would be perfected much later by Jedi Knight and TFU. On the surface this game had everything: strong ties to film canon, young Obi-Wan, a range of Force powers and the full experience of 3rd person lightsaber combat. What could possibly go wrong? The answer was everything. The story draws heavily from The Phantom Menace, just before and a little after. That is a bad start. Add to this literally the worst controls in any game, ever. Using different combinations on the right thumbstick, players can swing the weapon from side to side and use overhead chops and uppercuts to attack enemies. This makes it nearly impossible to survive against ranged-weapon opponents, so you end up using Force push, over and over. This was ironed out in later games of this genre. This tie-in with The Phantom Menace however was nearly as bad as the film.
