5 Things Nintendo Can Do Differently

3. More 3rd Party Support

I know that the above game was ported onto the Wii U and that's fine. It feels like Nintendo Wii U only had third party support right at launch. Nowadays, it's hard to really argue the fact that Nintendo has kept up with the other big 2. I know it's not in Nintendo's DNA to do things ordinary, and to more heavily rely on the exclusives, which is something that Sony and Microsoft don't nearly as much as Nintendo. But there comes a time where you need to change some things. Call of Duty: Ghosts only sold .033 on the Wii U. That is more than a frightening statistic that Nintendo really needs to fix. But, this is what you get when you market your console as a more exclusive-based piece of hardware. It's very compromising to the third party companies, and that's not a good thing for them. The fans (More nowadays than ever) worship their third party support. Playstation seems to be changing that, but that's another topic. For now, third party support is a huge factor in being successful. What I want to see is a Nintendo/3rd party crossover, and no I don't mean in Super Smash. I mean have an actual title, say Tekken or Street Fighter, and include Mario and Luigi. Maybe even Link in a Call Of Duty game as some sort of an assassin. Think of the possibilities!
