5 Things We Learned From PGI 2018

2. PGI 2019 WILL Happen

PGI 2018 was a huge event. With thousands of fans rocking up to Berlin to watch the finals live, and millions upon millions watching each day on various streaming sites, PUBG's first official foray into the E-Sports world was a massive success. After five incredible days of chicken dinners, freebies, and nail-biting tension in the late game, Brendan Green, PUBG Corp, and Bluehole Inc. are almost definitely already looking at next year.

PGI 2019 is absolutely on the cards, with teams such as OMG and Gen.G Gold wanting to keep their top spot, and score a second set of golden frying pans. With other Battle Royale titles gaining popularity, some might have said that PUBG was a dying brand, but after PGI's attendance, plus the number of people watching worldwide, PUBG is absolutely back on the map. Updates are consistently rolling out for the PC and Xbox versions of the game, with future content covering the next five years already mapped out and in the works. PUBG isn't going anywhere, and nor is the Global Invitational.
