Easily the most exciting entry on this list, State of Decay 2 has only received one trailer so far. Despite this, it remains as Microsoft's biggest claim to fame.

The first State of Decay was an Xbox Arcade exclusive that only saw a physical release when Microsoft realised how inventive and popular the game truly was. Undead Labs managed to create a realistic and entertaining interpretation of what would truly happen in a zombie apocalypse - for the most part, anyway.

The amount of freedom the game gave players in deciding where their base was, who their crew included and what they did with their free time was incredible, leading it to being one of the best zombie games of last generation.

State of Decay 2 looks set to improve upon this formula even further. The reveal trailer confirmed that the game would include cooperative multiplayer with four players at once and also introduce a brand new sandbox. State of Decay 2 also features a brand new beautiful art style, with zombies and humans appearing in much greater detail than ever before.

As long as the game continues the fantastic formula the first game perfected, it should be an even better survival experience.
