Finally, artefacts feel like they matter and are not just there for show and to hold you back from that next light level. They came in with The Taken King, and while they did add a tiny little perk for your guardian, they never seemed all that important. Well, thanks to Rise of Iron artifacts actually feel useful and the perks they offer are literally game changing.

The Memory of Jolder for instance completely removes the sprint cooldown. For those very familiar with Destiny, you're more than aware of this annoying feature and how often it could lead to an untimely death. You're almost guaranteed to have been playing with friends at one point only to hear them yell "F**king run!" followed shortly by "Guardian down."

Tyra Karn, the new Cyrptarch at the Iron Temple is where you can get these great new artefacts after performing a weekly quest of "performing noble deeds in the Plaguelands." While you may only be able to get one of the three available per week on one character, you can get the other two on your others if you manage your time correctly. Thanks to these eight new artefacts and their abilities, you'll be able to find the one that best suits you, and you'll never look back.
