30. Star Wars: Bounty Hunter (2002)-GameCube, PlayStation 2
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter released in 2002 as a prequel to Attack of the Clones, sees you play as Jango Fett. During the game, it is revealed why Jango Fett was chosen as the template for the Grand Army of the Republic, how Boba Fett, his cloned "son" was born, and how Jango acquired Slave I. It is for this reason why it is on my list, some neat Star Wars canon without reading a list of novels. It is slightly repetitive but worth playing.
29. Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force (2004) - Game Boy Advance
Apprentice of the Force lets you play through Luke's hero journey from Star Wars Episode IV to VI, this game was released on September 21st, 2004 to tie in with the 2004 DVD box sets of the original trilogy. The gameplay is similar to the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time on the GBA. It is a side scroller and that the player can slow down time temporarily, as a "Force-power". This is a decent game and worth a look.
28. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1992) - NES, Game Boy
The best of the NES Star Wars titles. Beginning in Hoth to the conflict with Vader on Cloud City, you play as Luke Skywalker, in all his 8-bit glory, in this sidescroller. You slash and blast your way through this game equipped with a blaster pistol or a lightsaber, and then later Force powers are useful. The snowspeeder level is a treat for all NES fans.
27. Star Wars: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter (1997) - Windows
Star Wars: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter is the third instalment of the X-Wing computer game series. It includes a robust multiplayer option, allowing an eight player free-for-all, team-based, and cooperative play modes. Why play this game? It is very close to being a flight simulator for both a Tie Fighter and a X-Wing. The gamer is offered a great deal of choice in this game. You can select your craft, and their own squadron for each mission.
26. Star Wars: Yoda Stories (1997)-Windows
This point and click adventure excited many when it dropped in 1997: with a slash of combat and many puzzle elements, it is a great PC game, but must only be played on the PC. This game was gutted for the handheld release, and the Gameboy port is one of the worst games every made. Star Wars: Yoda Stories is based around Luke's Jedi training with Yoda. The PC version is cool because it opens up the world of Star Wars puzzle games, good puzzle games. Sadly, the Gameboy port may have undone all of that good work.
