Release Date: 23 October, 2009 Microsoft needed a flagship racing series to compete with Sony;s Gran Turismo games and went with Forza Motorsport. The 3rd installment in the series set the tone for racing games of the current generation with its terrific graphics and responsive driving controls. Building on Forza 2 Turn 10 focused on adding requested features, improving the physics engine and implementing optional driver assists. They also brought new multiplayer aspects not previously seen such as the auction house and a reworked custom paint system so that players could properly personalise their cars. Although not as realistic as its PlayStation counterpart, Forza 3 is nevertheless one of the best racing games that have ever been released.
21. LittleBigPlanet

Release Date: 19 January, 2011 LittleBigPlanet was all about three things. Playing through levels as a traditional platformer, overcoming obstacles to reach the goal. Creating a huge range of custom maps using the in-built level builder. Lastly, sharing those user-created items with the rest of the world over the PlayStation Network. The ground-breaking game offered players the potential to create any level they wanted in a lovingly crafted world. While the fantastic art style and classical platforming gameplay allowed users to enjoy those levels to their fullest.
20. Mass Effect 2

Release Date: 22 October, 2010 The Mass Effect series took traditional RPG elements and combined them with combat of a third-person shooter. The result was an immense science fiction world full to the brim with a rich variety of characters. Mass Effect 2 stand out feature was the interactive storytelling used. Every conversation contained choices that had to be made, choices that had a very real effect on the world. Consequences could be far reaching which added pressure to players, making them consider everything they did. Combined with wonderfully designed models and environments as well as an exceptional soundtrack created an atmosphere worthy of an epic sci-fi adventure.
