6 Most Terrifying Places In The Fallout Universe

4. Pickman Gallery - Fallout 4

Pickman Gallery Fallout 4
Bethesda

If you have ever played 'Layers of Fear' then this is exactly that but with less in-your-face jump-scares.

There are many ways for you to meet Pickman and his disturbing gallery. The first way is that out in the wasteland there are some randomly placed corpses of unfortunate raiders. Looting these corpses, you could find Pickman's calling card tauntingly telling the dead raider's friend how: "Pickman was here" along with a massive heart drawn in blood. After reading this card, Pickman's Gallery location will be added to your map.

The first thing you see when you walk into the room are mutilated corpses of raiders strewn all over the place. You also see some extremely disturbing paintings made by Pickman to the immediate left of the entrance. If you have some companions with you during your visit, they repulsively react to them.

The contents of the paintings themselves aren't nearly as disturbing as the fact they were painted with blood and gore harvested from the corpses that you had just seen behind you.

Deeper into the house and into its subterranean secret tunnel, you find Pickman battling off against Slab and a group of raiders coming back to avenge their comrades who were horrifically murdered. As always, you're given three choices: Help Pickman and kill the raiders, help the raiders to kill Pickman, or kill everyone.

If you helped Pickman, after commending you for saving his life, he gives you the key to a safe filled with goodies inside the Gallery. If he is killed, you can just loot the key from his corpse.
