7 Best Missions In The Hitman Franchise
4. Tracking Hayamoto
This classic Hitman 2: Silent Assassin mission is compact and difficult but executed brilliantly. 47 is on the hunt for a target whose location has been unknown for fifteen years. To get to him you need to kill his son and place a tracking device on (in) him and go to where his body is delivered.
The mission takes you to a well-guarded house in Japan that's filled with small corridors, guards and deliberately placed disguises. This level highlights just how well placed guards can change a hitman level and that sometimes more focused missions are just as enjoyable as sprawling mazes.
It contains one of the most iconic hitman scenes too where you badly cut a pufferfish and place the tracker inside it and leave the food to be taken to the target while you smoothly make your exit. It's a very satisfying mission above all else.
This level is a perfect microcosm of what makes the perfect Hitman mission.
