4. Sea Of Thieves
Sea of Thieves is the closest thing you'll get to going on pirate adventures with your friends. Set in a huge open world filled with other players also taking on the role of pirates, you must travel alone or more wisely create a crew to explore and conquer this "sea of thieves" with.
Whilst you can play single-player that's not the best way to play. Sea of Thieves is at its best when it's you and a group of people sailing the seven seas, each with an assigned role, taking out enemy ships and working together as a perfect pirate-themed machine.
It's just fun exploring a new island with friends where anything could happen before going back on your ship in search of even more adventure.
There's also a Pirates of the Caribbean expansion which is pretty neat.
If you want something which is just a solid pirate experience then this is the best game for you, there's no nonsense, it's just pirate action.
