2. Lego Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Video Game
A great franchise doesn't necessarily make a great Lego game and a mediocre franchise doesn't necessarily make a mediocre Lego game.
The Lego Movie was pretty great yet the game based on it was one of the weaker Lego games, same with Indiana Jones, and The Incredibles. Mediocre movies like the Star Wars prequels and of course Pirates of the Caribbean however led to some pretty great video games.
When it comes to the Pirates of the Caribbean movies only the first one can be considered good, yet it turns out the other three movies that are playable in this game work well in Lego-form.
Pirates of the Caribbean just works as a Lego game, the action might be too ridiculous in the movies but it works well in the slapstick world of Lego. The movies might have bad writing, but Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game was released during a period where Lego characters didn't speak.
Now that we have another Pirates of the Caribbean movie on the horizon I'm more excited for a potential Lego Pirates Of The Caribbean 2 than the movie itself.
