1. Saga
Brian K. Vaughn's Saga has been life and death from the word go. There's a civil war going on between a planet and its nearby moon and both places are stacked with groups of very dangerous creatures who all hate each other. From the very first page of the comic book and for every page after, the lives of men, women, and children are on the line from threats as varied as a contract killer named "The Will," military princes with televisions for heads, and stories-high tortoises mounted with laser cannons. Saga would be the next perfect, logical step for Telltale in crafting franchise after franchise of great choice games that we are all somehow surprised are really, really good.
