7 Insanely Powerful Joke Video Game Characters

With such a plethora of unlockable characters to sift through, when you first unlock the Gonk Droid in Lego Star Wars, you might be, understandably, a little underwhelmed. The droid moves at the pace of erosion, falls down at any given opportunity, and worst of all can't even jump (something pretty essential in a platforming game right?).

As such you might just write off the old Gonk-er-nator here as just bin with legs for how trash it appears. Well my friend this mechanical wonder might be a lot more scrappy than scrap heap thanks to a few unique characteristics and the fact that you can unlock it's full potential with the almighty Red Brick collectibles.

By collecting the Red Brick in the opening level Negotiations in Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, you'll see that you now can purchase an Extra called "SUPER GONK". By sinking some studs into this Gonk suddenly gains the ability to zip about the game at ludicrous speeds, AND now has one of the highest jumps in the game!

On top of this, you can now self-destruct without costing you any hearts, meaning you can clear entire screens of enemies and reach places others can only dream of!

Be careful who you make fun of in high school, because Gonk is now an absolute unit...well more of a unit. You know what I mean.
