7 Memorable Zelda Dungeons: Ranked From Worst To Best

3. City In The Sky - Twilight Princess

Although Twilight Princess has its issues (don't get me started about Wolf Link), its dungeons were practically flawless. From the gravity-defying Goron Mines to the eerie Arbiter's Grounds, these levels never disappointed. But of all the dungeons in Twilight Princess, the City in the Sky is the most memorable.

The main draw of the City in the Sky is the double clawshot. The clawshot (or hookshot depending on the game) is one of the most iconic items in Zelda history, but by simply adding another one to Link's arsenal the developers created an unforgettable level.

Hooking from wall to wall is incredibly fun on its own, but that is not the clawshots' only use. The boss fight against the dragon Argork requires the player to quickly clawshot high into the sky in order to combat the beast. Having to avoid Argork's attacks while simultaneously ascending is extremely tense, and it makes the fight immensely satisfying.

In addition to the wonderful gameplay provided by the clawshots, the design of the City in the Sky is also noteworthy. Alternating between fascinating industrious interiors and scenic exteriors, this dungeon's fascination never wanes. The ambient music, combined with the falling platforms and countless bottomless pits, also add a nice layer of eeriness to the City in the Sky.

And while the Oocca's may be creepy as all hell, you certainly can't call them forgettable.
