If there's one thing that the original Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention loves, other than ridiculously long titles it's party members, seeing as there are THIRTY that the player can come across in their time with the game. While some are mandatory, others are truly, unbelievably NOT WORTH IT, and yet I'm about to make a case for what is arguably the worst party member that everyone NEEDED to have in their team.

Say hello to Jogurt, a literal hamster with a helmet on that you can indeed recruit to fight the forces of evil. However, in order to do so you're doing to need to jump through some hoops as it can be easy to progress too far and never get this little devil in your ranks.

In order to get him to join you need to locate him in three areas early on in the game and then search for him in a bed, trust me it makes about as little sense explaining it as it does in-game, upon which the little fella will join the party! Huzzah!

Now we can enjoy his stats that are set permanently at 1 and who only deals 1 damage!....huzzah? Trust me it's worth it for the comedy alone and if you do kill an enemy with Jogurt you get a Yogurt Ring which lets you TURN INTO A HAMSTER. It's the gift that keeps on giving!
