5. Hitman And Kane & Lynch

Now, no one is really crying out for a Hitman/Kane and Lynch spin-off crossover. Frankly, no one is really crying out for anything to do Kane and Lynch anymore. But it does appear that developers IO Interactive once had that intention.

Kane and Lynch are referenced multiple times within the Hitman games with a number of newspapers detailing their exploits. The newspapers lay out the duo's escape from prison with a fair amount of detail, listing some smaller points that only die-hard fans would recognise.

However, it goes one step further with both Kane and Lynch featuring in an actual Hitman game. In the mission, Birdie's Gift, in Hitman: Absolution, you can find the pair at a gun range. There is no way to interact, but by featuring the characters so prominently, the theory becomes less speculative and more of a reality.
