7 Video Games Made HARDER With Co-op
4. Double Dragon Neon
Now in all fairness, you could consider this entry as being any co-op brawler that made the ungodly decision to include friendly fire, with Battletoads being an especially brutal example of this as well as a title made infinitely harder when playing with a mate who could kick your face off at a moments notice by accident.
However, today we're talking about the much less infamous and if we're being honest, much more inferior title Double Dragon Neon, which for fans of the series was a true low point.
I say this because everything about the title feels a little off. From the weird, low definition 3D sprites to the tone of the game that feels at odds with itself in that it constantly promises a blast of 80's fun, but delivers something utterly straight-laced and often boring.
And boring will be the order of the day should you look to 100% this title, as trying to get the "Misters Perfect" trophy will make you bore a hole through your goddam skull out of frustration, as this one achievement requires you to make it through a level in co-op without either person taking a single hit...and friendly fire on.
It's that last section that will prove to be your downfall, as no matter the stage, things often get so cluttered that you'll accidentally clip your partner or throw an enemy into them, making what should be a perfect example of teamwork into an utter nightmare.
