7 Ways PES 2018 Is Better Than FIFA 18

7. Player Likenesses Shine

FIFA 18 may have most of the stadiums, kits, logos and all that good stuff, but some of the players look a little too much like EA's facial scanner was having an off day. Don't get us wrong, there are still good-looking models in FIFA and the presentation overall is stunning. Models absolutely don't have more quality than PES does though, and that's where Konami step up.

In motion, PES 2018's players look more lifelike than their FIFA counterparts. There are different facial expressions to sell the glory of a last-minute winner, the crunching force of a tackle and the bitter taste of defeat. The whole package just looks that bit smoother up close, and it's sometimes easy to forget this isn't the real thing when you're mid-match.

Yes, there are players who look nothing like they do in real life, and there's no getting away from that. For the most part, PES player models kick lumps out of FIFA's. It's not only big clubs like Barcelona or Liverpool that matter.

Take note, EA, because you've been left in the dust here.
