7 Ways Ubisoft Killed For Honor
1. The Complete Lack Of Communication
The keen-witted amongst you may have sensed a theme throughout all of these points, which is that throughout all these problems and all the bumps in the road, the fans (the ones who the game is for, and who were paying for it) knew nothing about what was happening.
There was a severe lack of communication, with no one from Ubisoft commenting on the various concerns we all had. Consumers were kept in the dark as Ubisoft made more and more changes to the game, and it felt like we were all just screaming into a void whilst Ubi toiled away and ignored us.
Hell, fans organised a boycott of the game, just to have Ubisoft say something. And while the boycott worked and there is a steady flow of communication in regards to patches, major game-breaking issues and balancing tweaks, it all feels like it was a little too late.
The player base has dropped dramatically and all because fans felt like no one was listening to valid criticisms. It all feels like For Honor could have been excellent, if someone at Ubisoft kept people updated.
