7 Worrying Signs That WWE 2K20 Will Be A Carbon Copy Of 2K19

4. Similar Character Models

Despite the likes of Adam Cole and Buddy Murphy getting major overhauls to their character models this year, the majority of the basic roster look exactly the same as they did previously. While for the likes of Triple H, Undertaker and John Cena, that's absolutely fine as they still look fairly accurate, there are other roster members that are long overdue a new scan.

Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns and Sasha Banks are just four of the superstars we've seen that still have the same inaccurate, dead-behind-the-eyes character models they did last year, and it's incredibly likely there will be more to come when the game releases.

If you're not trying to improve the accuracy of these superstars every year, why should players invest in a new title, especially as many of the worst models are some of WWE's biggest stars (coincidentally almost all of them also have long hair, the only thing the WWE 2K engine truly fears)?

The lack of any new scans or models is yet another indicator that 2K20 is going to feel a hell of a lot like WWE 2K19, and yet another example of why you'd be fine sticking with the latter until the former drops in price.
