7 WWE Video Games WORSE Than 2K20

Whereas WrestleMania 21 was made by Mortal Kombat creators, WWF In Your House was the series' attempt to become Mortal Kombat.

In Your House was filled with gimmicks later seen and derided in 2K20, like magical moves and bizarre arenas. The digitised sprites were compressed beyond recognition, with the 10 featured superstars only barely looking like the men they're supposed to be. And by tradition, the commentary was terrible with many soundbites turning up too late or just having silence throughout.

Gameplay had little to no strategy and resorted to a simple button masher, relying less on skill and more on getting lucky if your attacks would actually connect. It was more effective to just hit one move over and over again until your opponent fell to the floor for the 1-2-3.

It might be fun for a couple of rounds but with no variety in the gameplay and the lack of any actual challenge, the novelty of The Undertaker lobbing tombstones at Owen Hart loses its luster very quickly.
