7 WWE Video Games WORSE Than 2K20

1. WWF King Of The Ring (Game Boy & NES)

This was the last wrestling game to be release on the NES, and it showed as this game's quality was sacrificed in order to prepare for the next generation.

Both the NES release and the Game Boy port were an utter chore to play. A grand total of 10 superstars to pick from (with Undertaker and Bam Bam Bigelow removed from the Game Boy making 8) and a custom star called "You", and four game modes in the form of one-on-one, tag team, tournament and King of the Ring.

The limitations of the handheld system are on full display, with characters having very odd proportions like Bret Hart and his massive pecs, and selection portraits that make Yokozuna look like Bulbasaur. Additionally, both versions had a moveset for all wrestlers consisting of five moves with no finishers for anyone.

With an albeit small but varied selection of wrestlers, a unique moveset for all is a must. But as it is, each superstar plays exactly the same leading to a repetitive bore.
