8 Best Nintendo Switch Launch Games - Ranked
8. Just Dance 2017
At this stage you can assume what a Just Dance game is going to play like, and be spot on. Ubisoft have routinely released these every year, with a number of specific themed spin-offs such as Just Dance Disney or Just Dance Kids. (Personally I'm still waiting on a 'Just Dance Rock' where you could strap the Joy-Con to your head for maximum headbang-tracking, but we'll have to keep waiting).
Still, Just Dance 2017 is more of the same motion-tracked dancing that sees you attempting to match moves in your living room with whatever video is playing on screen. The Switch version gets around the standard "Download the official app and use it as a microphone/motion device" (though you still can), and instead gets everyone playing by just handing them one of the Joy-Cons.
It's simple to hop into, the songs are all those you'll recognise from being overplayed on the radio (but are still great fun with friends), there's a 'story' mode that tasks you to tackle aliens with the power of groove, and a currency XP system to get higher scores and unlock more songs.
Oh, and Haddaway's "What Is Love?" is in here, immediately justifying its existence.
