8 Dumbest Video Game Decisions With The BEST Rewards

5. Press The "Do Not Press" Button... Again, Get Health & Power-Ups - Blasto

Conventional wisdom says that any time a video game tells you not to press something, the results will be pretty dire if you do - a cruel prank by the developers to test players' restraint, basically.

And in the not-so-classic PS1 shooter-platformer Blasto, you'll encounter a Big Red Button in the very first level, with a gigantic sign insisting you do anything but press it.

But of course, gamers being gamers, how could they resist?

Doing so results in the inevitability of bad decision-making swiftly catching up with you, as Captain Blasto is promptly shot and turned into a pile of ash. Oops.

As such, when another do-not-press button appears in the second level, it makes sense to give it a wide berth and continue on your merry way through the stage.

But those who've never heard the phrase "fool me twice, shame on me" might be tempted to press the button anyway - a profoundly stupid decision which, in a brain-breaking paradox, nets tremendous rewards.

Indeed, hitting the red button on the second level will cause the area to be festooned with plentiful health and power-ups, giving you a huge leg-up for the battle ahead.
