8 Great Video Games That Take Place In A SINGLE Building

4. Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night

A lot of Castlevania games take place in a singular location, especially the Metroidvania entries. Most of them take place in the same location, Dracula's Castle but Castlevania: Symphony of the Night undoubtedly has the best version of the structure. The building itself is one of the most iconic video game locations of all time because of its repeat appearances, each time different yet similar.

The castle has everything a grumpy old vampire could want. A library, a marble gallery, and a colosseum where he can watch his enemies fight to the death, what a lovely guy.

It's a lot of fun exploring the castle and getting to know every detail of it. The areas are unique enough for the game to have variety yet they all still feel like a part of the same structure.

If you enjoyed your time exploring Dracula's Castle then good news, with some arbitrary steps, you can explore it again, just this time it'll be upside down.
