8 Incredibly Weird Stats Video Games Keep Track Of

1. Comic Jumper: The Adventures Of Captain Smiley - The Stats Song

Fallout Corpse
Twisted Pixel

So we've detailed quite a lot of weird stat tracking thus far, but despite knowing how many orphans we've made, or how many of our friends we've done over in weird and wonderful ways, they've all lacked that certain something. It's all been a bit... dry (well, except the last one).

Well, fret not my friends, because Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley has got you covered, as here the game doesn't just track your stats: it sings them back to you when you visit the statistics menu. That's right, a full-blown song, composed by utter nutters Twisted Pixel that details all the bad guys you've beaten up, all the collectibles you've nabbed and of course how many times you've bitten the big one.

I have an enormous amount of respect for a developer willing to make even the processes of reading a glorified spreadsheet fun, and it's a perfect expression of the sheer barminess that goes into all of their work. It helps as well that the game is a laugh riot.
