8 Indie Game Characters We’d Love To See In Super Smash Bros

7. Isaac (The Binding Of Isaac)

Cuphead Pacifist
Edmund McMillen

The Binding of Isaac is an intense title regarding its lore, visuals and content itself. You'll find yourself put through the wringer with it, and while that doesn't seem like a perfect blend for Nintendo, the titular character could still have a really good place in the roster.

Isaac's tale is full of tragedy and woe, so seeing him enter the bright and colourful world of Smash would be a nice departure for him. There's no doubt he'd have a tremendous presence, as his unique skills in the game - which consist of using his tears as weapons - would give him an excellent projectile advantage on the battlefield.

His stripped back, simple look could also be a solid visual as most of the characters are overly designed. There's nothing wrong with a little bit of simplicity, and this could turn him into a character that focussed more on an awesome move-set than being an aesthetic treat.

While the mean-spirited context of the character wouldn't translate, you'd still be left with a highly formidable and unique fighter.
