One of the coolest uses of a timed window event in modern gaming, developers IO Interactive decided to hide additional targets inside other Hitman missions, then give players only the smallest of clues to track them down.

For the most part you're given a 48 hour window in which to do this, which always results in mad scramble of shared information online as the fandom chase after all sorts of nefarious individuals.

IO have brought a handful of these targets back for additional timed windows, but you need to log into Hitman 1 or 2 at just the right time, and put your wits to the test to bring these people down. Completion nets you some of the most suave suits 47 has donned in his whole career - a living testament to your skills as a cyber-assassin, and the perfect way to keep players engaged post-launch.

Even better, a couple of these targets have been celebrities - with Gary Busey and Sean Bean spotted walking around levels, begging for you to find a way to take them out.
