3. Rise Of The Triad - You Suck

Originally intended to be the true spiritual successor to Wolfenstein 3D (obviously, that didn't come to pass), Rise of the Triad: Dark War was still a pretty great first-person shooter, giving players the option to adopt the role of one of five characters, each with their own skills and abilities.

Whoever you pick though, you still have the option of triggering the secret bad - but equally hilarious - ending to the game. If you don't destroy all of El Oscuro's Larvae while shooting your way through the story (most of them you can't miss), you'll be informed in a post-credits sequence that all of your heroics were actually for naught.

Because you missed one, thirty years later a descendant of the release's big bad was able to finish the dastardly plan that you just thwarted, wiping out the entire world in the process. For your mistake, you're treated to a shot of the entire world exploding, while a voice happily informs you that you totally suck at your job.
