8 Most Brutally Violent Video Game Moments Of 2017 (So Far)

7. Gardening With Human Blood In Hitman: Season 1

Hitman has always been about killing people in the most creative ways possible, so it's no wonder that the series has seen its fair share of incredibly violent moments over the years.

And the latest release, Hitman: Season 1, is no different, with one of the most brutal opportunities coming in the Landslide bonus mission. Sneaking your way into a nearby graveyard, you can spring a trap on one of your targets by turning on a live electric wire near where one of the characters likes to, ahem, relieve himself. As soon as the guy starts peeing he's treated to a couple thousand volts aimed straight at his unmentionables that kill him instantly.

That's pretty grim on its own, but as the YouTube clip below shows, you can then hide the evidence of your nefarious deed by putting the body into a nearby machine that grinds it into mulch. It can't get rid of everything however, and the only evidence remaining - the blood - spews onto the nearby flowerbed. Worst fertiliser ever.

Note: If you thought, "Hey, this came out in 2016!", actually the full game release wasn't packaged up until 2017.
