8 Nintendo Video Game Movies We NEED To See

5. F-Zero

With the popularity of the Fast and Furious movies, I think cinema is ready for an F-Zero film.

The F-Zero protagonist Captain Falcon is perfect for the big screen.

He is one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy and he participates in highly dangerous races where he often faces against evil opponents that want him dead. If that couldn't be made into a dumb over-the-top action film with speedy races, gunfights, and numerous explosions I don't know what could.

It's also rumoured that he was an ex-cop. Captain Falcon ticks all the boxes for an action movie protagonist.

Whilst an original story focusing on Captain Falcon set in the F-Zero universe would probably be best, F-Zero GX tells a great tale that would be perfect for a film.

Hell, it's a franchise that could be adapted into a bunch of films. An F-Zero movie series could work even whilst the game franchise is essentially dead. And who knows, maybe a successful film franchise is what is needed to encourage Nintendo to make a new F-Zero game.
