8 Obvious Flaws In Recent Video Games Everyone Ignores

6. Poor Camera - Armored Core VI: Fires Of Rubicon

Marvels Spider Man 2 Venom
FromSoftware

Fires of Rubicon hit a major snag upon release, with criticism directed towards its brutal difficulty (even by Soulsborne standards). Veterans of the genre struggled to beat the tutorial boss, urging FromSoftware to patch it mere weeks after launch.

After that, Armored Core VI seemed to be in the clear. But just because the mecha-builder remedied its biggest flaw doesn't mean it's perfect.

With countless parts to choose from and infinite combinations to tinker with, it's possible to build a robot to complete any mission, traverse any environment, and defeat any enemy.

At least, in theory. No matter how flawlessly the mecha is tweaked, players are sure to die countless times, not because of their lack of skill, but due to the sporadic camera. During certain boss battles, the camera swings around or gets stuck at an unhelpful angle, forcing you to spend more time looking for the enemy than fighting them.

Now, this shouldn't be a problem since there's an option to lock onto baddies But since specific weapons target better when the lock-on is deactivated, players have to keep switching between the two modes in battle to maximise their chances of surviving, which is needlessly confusing.
