8 One Shot Kill Weapons That Fail At Their Job
2. Blunderbuss - Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
On one hand, the Blunderbuss in Red Dead Redemption's Undead Nightmare expansion boasts a mighty kick, capable of exploding a zombie into a bloody mist if you open fire at close range.
But being the undeniably dusty, rusty relic that it is, it's also horribly unsuited for sustained self-defense due to its atrocious range, single-shot capacity, and agonisingly slow reload time, ensuring it's incredibly easy to get overwhelmed by the undead horde while using it.
Using the Blunderbuss requires you to fire a shot, run clear of enemies so you can reload in peace, and repeat, as quickly becomes less fun than tedious. You're really better off just using any weapon that offers a more sustained rate of fire, even if it can't instantly liquefy enemies into a festival of blood and entrails.
It's a fun weapon to use once, but for the most part the crimson juice just isn't worth the hassle of the squeeze.
