8 Overpowered Weapons Hidden In Horror Video Games

The Resident Evil series is no stranger to making their fans feel like teeny tiny little worms getting crushed under the heel of Albert Wesker, in fact, they positively seem to be leaning into the "step on me please" angle with Tall Lady Vampire (TM) in the new Village trailers.

Yet I digress, as the only boot we're interested in today is the oversized one that allowed players to absolutely kick ass, and that's where the "infinite ammo" weapons of the Resi Franchise come into play.

Hidden behind either huge grinds for points to purchase them, or as rewards for speedrunning the game, infinite ammo weapons take many shapes and sizes. From the humble pistol to the absolutely embarrassingly powerful rocket launcher, they can turn once stressful and tense experiences into an action film bloodbath.

You almost end up feeling sorry for the likes of the shuffling undead or the infected as you mow them down with a hail of bullets, or blast them limb from limb.
