Controllers have varied in their design since their first appearance, but the basic shape and button layout has remained pretty much the same. It was only with release of the Wii did we see a massive departure from the usual style of controller we've become used to. Will the fifth generation of Playstation and Xbox see a radical redesign of the console controller? Rather than a device we hold in our hands, how about something we wear? Gloves that act as controllers is an idea that has been seen in several sci-fi movies, but no-one has ever been able to replicate them to such a fine degree in real life. A google-glass style accessory that you control with eye movements could become a reality, or perhaps even a controller you operate with your thoughts alone. Again, this is a device that is already in existence, but could it be perfected to such a degree that you'll be able to play Call of Duty 12 via your mind?
