8 Reasons The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Should Be Bethesda's Next Remaster

4. Access To DLC

One of the most painful things about playing Oblivion today is the fact that on console, the various DLC is damn near impossible to get. With none of them being on the PlayStation Store, you must make sure you buy a Game of the Year Edition otherwise, good luck getting a hold of the Shivering Isles or Knights of the Nine.

It’s a real shame, as some of the DLC is brilliant if you get a chance to play it. Knights of the Nine holds one of my favourite experiences in gaming as you are given a map and told to hunt down shrines with no objective markers and only your own brains for guidance. That DLC harkened back to the days of Morrowind, where players had to think about where to go and what to do.

Not to mention the multitude of player homes DLC that have been lost to the ages, unable to even be found on the game of the year edition. Reading about them, it sounds like they would be a lot of fun and a worthwhile addition to the game alongside the quest to get Mehrune’s Razor.

With so much content inaccessible to most players, a remaster would be the perfect way to allow fans to experience the content and new players to get the chance. Just make sure we don't see the return of Horse Armor... *shudder*
