For those that might not know, Forza Horizon was a 2012 open world racing game that aimed more at being crazy and fun than a serious simulation. According to ntkrnl, a new Forza Horizon game will come out in the fall, possibly September, and feature an advanced weather system and lots of co-op and social oriented features. Could it be true: Almost definitely on the release date, very likely on the social/co-op stuff, and possibly on the weather system There's a few layers to this rumor. Microsoft has two branches of the Forza franchise: Motorsport and Horizon. They seem to be aiming for bi-yearly releases from each branch, so Motorsport come out on odd years, while Horizon would get the even years. So a 2014 release date for Horizon 2 makes sense, and September would fit for a release around the holidays. The social/co-op makes sense, given how much money Sony and Microsoft have pumped into various social features for this generation of consoles. As for the weather system, it sounds like the sort of feature that Microsoft would tout as next gen, and since the game hasn't been officially announced yet, there's no reason to say it wouldn't be in the game.
