7. Catwoman Leaves Batman To Die – Arkham City

For the sequel to Arkham Asylum, you'd expect the Caped Crusader to be at his crime-fighting best. And that would hold true, if you had never played the DLC featuring Catwoman.

Tasked with foiling the Joker’s dastardly plans, and saving Gotham City, as Catwoman you have to grab the loot and save Batman from the clutches of the insidious Hugo Strange. However, if the player decides to embody their inner Catwoman and simply take the loot and leave the city, the credits begin to roll.

The player is then played an ominous and scratchy radio signal which informs them that Batman has in fact DIED, and that Joker has taken over.

Thankfully, for anyone mourning Bruce in the moment, the player gets another chance to save the Bat- billionaire. Welcome, because frankly, the guy has been through enough at this point.
