3. Oleana – Crown Tundra DLC Pokémon Sword & Shield

The Pokémon Company aren't very clear when it comes to quashing or confirming in-game rumours.

That was…until now. The DLCs for Sword & Shield added a new sense of verve to their games, and with it, more mysteries to uncover.

A particular rumour which has been swirling around regards the identity of the mysterious Mr Peony.

Surprisingly, The Crown Tundra DLC finally gave us those answers. If the player speaks to Peonia (the daughter of our mystery man) at the entrance to the Max Lair, she will sometimes mention a blonde-haired woman that has been seen around a graveyard.

If the player goes to the graveyard in question, only at night, they will encounter the vice president of Macro Cosmo’s, looking for her boss and friend, Mr Rose.

The mysterious Mr Peony soon joins Oleana and the player, eventually revealing himself to be the long-lost brother of Mr Rose! This bombshell tied up some threads of lore which had been hanging loose for a while. Conclusively, this easter egg appears to put one the most intriguing Crown Tundra mysterious to bed once, and for all.
