5. CSI: Fatal Conspiracy - Telltale

The Telltale players know and love today - the one that creates brilliant, story-driven adventure games based on the hottest media properties around - only really came into being around the time of the first season of The Walking Dead.

Before then, Telltale was a studio attempting to find just what made it different from its contemporaries, and while that resulted in admirable misfires like Jurassic Park, it also ended up birthing a whole host of terrible CSI games to the world.

The worst of the bunch was definitely one of the studio's last efforts on the franchise though, Fatal Conspiracy. While there may have been a certain charm to some of the initial titles, by the time this instalment rolled around, it was hard to see these tie-ins as anything but cheap money grabs.

Sure, it was cool to solve crimes and hang with the cast of the show, but the allure was lessened by the fact that they all looked like aliens wearing the skin of the actual actors.
