8 Things Nintendo NX Will Do Better Than PS4 & Xbox One

2. Nintendo Still Do Real Multiplayer Games

Online gaming can be amazing. Watching enormous shootouts between mini armies of 20-a-side is a great spectacle, and having sprawling open worlds to explore with friends is another great way to spend time, but does anybody else miss the days of turning up to your friends house armed with a controller, geared up for an intense afternoon of Mario Kart? Playing online is great, but without seeing the other participants, you're essentially still sitting alone in your room gunning down pixels on a screen. Nintendo need some serious work to get a successful online community off the ground that replicates the fun of hanging with real people, but at the same time, on the rare occasion that it happens, it's hard to replicate sitting in a room with a few old friends and blasting through a mammoth Mario Kart Grand Prix. This is increasingly limited on the PS4 and Xbox, with local multiplayer being shunted to the side in most cases.
