8 Video Game Bloopers The Developers LEFT IN

7. Star Wars: Bounty Hunter (2002)

A surprisingly neglected entry in the roster of Star Wars games of the noughties, Bounty Hunter has you take control of Jango Fett as he goes through all the standard prequel-esque motions to get to where he is at the time of Attack of the Clones.

This time around, the blooper reels are unlockable little tidbits within the game, made available to you after completing a chapter. And this should certainly incentivise cracking on further with the story, as these bloopers are, more often than not, an absolute riot.

With the characters plonked in front of green screens and told to interact with CGI stand-in props, there's a refreshing self-awareness about the scenes that unfold, and you've got to hand it to the voice actors for really committing to this kind of in-game parody.

Of course, it's obvious that most of these were staged purposely for the blooper reel (Jango strutting his funky stuff in front of Jabba the Hutt comes to mind). But with those involving Clancy Brown's character, Montross, you definitely get the sense that his irreverent lines came first, only to be animated over later.

Good to know that a sense of humour still existed a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
