8 Video Game "Gifts" That Made You Say HUMBUG
2. Frankie's Lousy T-Shirt - Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Players generally expect some sort of gift or reward for achieving 100% completion on time sink open-world games, and understandably so.
Long before AAA collectathons were commonplace, though, Rockstar were well ahead of the curve when they basically flipped the bird at players expecting a handout for doing everything one of their games had to offer.
Those who achieve 100% completion of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City can find a "treat" waiting for them back in the Vercetti Estate - a piece of clothing called Frankie's Shirt, which is nothing more than a white shirt with the following phrase emblazoned in it: "I completed Vice City and all I got was this lousy t-shirt."
Now to be fair, the shirt will also instantly remove a two-star wanted level from you, but as 100% completion rewards go, it's just a wee bit naff, even if Rockstar clearly wanted to thumb their nose at us pesky, entitled players.
