8 Video Game Movie Adaptations That Were Better Than We Remember

6. Batman Begins (PS2/XBOX)

It’s hard to think of Batman games being good before Rocksteady came along with the Arkham series.

But in the early 2000s, we were graced with a standout game that, although it won't go down in anyone's Personal Top Ten list, it will at least be Patient Zero for future Batman games to come.

The video game adaptation of Batman Begins spliced Bruce Wayne’s training with the Dark Knight skull-crushing more than acceptably well and its reliance on the stealth aspect of being Batman stopped the game feeling slow or tiresome.

Stealth gameplay is always an exciting and nail-biting experience, and since we're playing as Batman there was the added bonus that any minute now we were going to break into knuckle-dusting action.

The Tumbler/Batmobile driving sequences felt a little rough at times. But if we’re going to justify this game, let’s look at the combat and stealth takedowns and compare it to even future Arkham Asylum- the similarities are just a little too on the nose.

Here is a game that doesn't hold up to the awesomeness of Rocksteady's portfolio, but was definitely tapping into a market where playing as superheroes could be both fun and challenging.

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
