8 Video Game Side-Quests That Were Better Than The Main Story

4. Every Mini-Game - Yakuza 0

Now it might seem like a bit of a stretch to put every SINGLE side mission/mini-game from Yakuza 0 into a single entry, but trust me, as anyone who has played this glorious title will be able to tell you, not putting them all on would be a huge slap in the mush to the creators of this game.

As seriously, they are just that good. And many of them are unbelievably funny.

You'll help people defeat perverts obsessed with underwear, you'll enter the surprisingly deep and rewarding world of miniature race car driving, and of course, you'll help mushroom dealers finally realize their calling and start a restaurant in Europe.

It's as weird and as eclectic as it sounds, and it's never a dull moment.

Add to this the wealth of mini-games which are basically side missions in their own right for all the brilliant rewards you earn, such as managing and expanding a business, dancing the night away at the disco, and even running a saucy cabaret club and you get a game that not only has a pretty decent storyline but comes alive with all of the side content on offer, meaning that while this might be Kazuma's plot, it most definitely becomes your tale to tell.
