8 Video Games SOLVED By MONEY

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl offers up a pretty fascinating rebuke to the tireless acquisition of wealth which so many video games encourage, because it actually punishes players who dare to hoard their virtual wealth.

Hilariously, if you make it to the end of the game with more than 50,0000 rubles in tow, you'll trigger the so-called "greedy ending," in which protagonist Strelok asks the Wish Granter for riches.

At this point, he's showered in coins, enough of which eventually cause the roof of the very building he's standing in to collapse under their weight, crushing Strelok to death in a bout of profound irony.

Per the game's high level of difficulty, which encourages players to be conservative and thrifty, it's little surprise that many unlock this ending on their first playthrough.

To get one of the better endings, you actually need to spend some of your cash to bring the balance below 50,000 rubles. How about that?
