8 Video Games SOLVED By MONEY

2. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

It's not unfair to say that the economy in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is something of a touchy subject with fans.

Many players feel that the early hours of the game in particular are excessively hard-going monetarily, while some book readers are of the belief that the in-game economy doesn't go far enough in replicating the stark conditions of the novels.

And thankfully, regardless of your own opinion, there are mods to "fix" the game. For PC players who've struggled with a scarcity of coin, there's the brilliant "Geralt Is Rich" mod, which will add 50,000 crowns to your inventory whenever you run dry.

And on the flip side, there's the "Lore-Friendly Economy" mod, which attempts to better replicate Geralt's lack of funds throughout the books by severely rejigging the distribution of coin.

Whichever side of the argument you fall down upon, it's an issue ultimately resolved by money - or, er, a "redistribution" of it.
