Behold my friend, the wonderous puzzle game known as Myst AKA God's personal slide show that moves with such jank-ulous glory that it appears as if each image has been carved into the earth itself to preserve it forevermore. This was my and many other olde timey gamers childhoods and I know that there are many whispy bearded geeks nodding in approval at its inclusion on this list.

Now before I begin I should prefix that this game is utterly brilliant, bonkers, and downright infuriating in equal measure and while I speak from a place of love when talking about this game, it's the same type of love you have for an aging cat that constantly hacks up hairballs and claws your favorite jumpers, you love it but can be an utter s**te sometimes.

Yet at least the puzzles within weren't as cheeky as those found in URU: Ages Beyond Myst, a game that featured not one but two puzzles within its heady broth that tasked the player with standing absolutely still, and one of these requiring you to do so for fifteen minutes.

C'mon man, when I was playing these games the thought of sitting still was enough to make my blood itch so to expect me to do this as a kid, without telling me to do so mind you, would have been abject torture of trial and much much error.
